Let me teach you a lesson. If you are incompetent, it is important that you recognize your incompetence. Most people don't appreciate incompetence. One thing that makes incompetence worse is when you can't own up to your own mistakes and fix them. If you pass the problem to someone else and expect them to clean it up, it will make them feel like you cannot be trusted. If you are incompetent please take the credit for your mistakes and clean up your own messes. Nobody likes cleaning someone elses diarrhea.
