Credit Cards
I hate credit card companies.
My wife has this credit card (Chase Platinum Mastercard) and when her latest bill came they had increased her interest rate from 12% to 28%. Thats right 16% increase. So she calls to ask why. They told her because her level of debt had increased she is now a bigger risk.
Lets see. She has never had a late payment and always pays more than the minimum. How exactly does that make her a risk? I understand the debt thing. But don't punish someone who is a good customer. If she makes late payments or doesn't pay the minimum fine. Only give her one chance. But preemptive strikes? Fuck them.

Well Chuck... when you only make the minimum payment or a payment for anything less the the full balance... you accumulate more debt. By building a stockpile of $$ owed... aka shit you possess, but haven't really paid for yet... you are making it more difficult for yourself to pay off the entire bill in the long run. The credit dept. looks at this as bad because you OWE THEM MONEY and until you pay the balance off... you are a higher risk than those individuals who are caught up with their payments on a monthly basis. The credit card companies do not sit on Accounts Payable. They pay off the money you spent immediately to the stores/businesses where you purchased goods & services, so as a safe guard for you defaulting... they rape you on the interest rate. IT IS NOTHING NEW THAT CREDIT CARD COMPANY'S ARE BRUTAL ON THEIR INTEREST RATES... DON'T RUN UP YOUR CARD BALANCE!
To the person that posted the last comment, I would like to sing a few lyrics from one of my favorite songs. Hopefully, it will cheer that person up.
Lightning cashes, a new mother cries
Her placenta falls to the floor
The angel opens her eyes
The confusion sets in
Before the doctor can even close the door
Lightning crashes, an old mother dies
Her intentions fall to the floor
The angel closes her eyes
The confusion that was hers
Belongs now to the baby down the hall
Oh now feel it comin' back again
Like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind
Forces pullin' from the center of the Earth Again
I can feel it
There you go buddy. I hope your anger is calmed now!!!
Truley yours,
Nutz on your chin
