What About the Ween?

Found this news excerpt.

CANTON, Ohio -- There are 490 female students at Timken High School, and 65 are pregnant, according to a recent report in the Canton Repository. The article reported that some would say that movies, TV, videogames, lazy parents and lax discipline may all be to blame.

If I wrote this little blurb it would have read like this.

Canton, Ohio -- There are 490 female steudents at Timken High School, and 65 are pregnant, according to a recent report in the Canton Repository. Roughly 13% of Canton's high school attending women are pregnant teens. The article reported that some would say that movies, TV, videogames, lazy parents and lax discipline may all be to blame. However a more intelligent minority cliams it is the ween and sex that cause pregnancy. They are hoping to soon improve high-school health curriculum to advance the idea that pregnancy is caused by sex. While they don't underestimate the influence of popular culture, they have realized that a condom covering the ween during sex greatly diminishes the likelyhood of fertilization. The two groups will probably be arguing this point for a long time to come.

Oh, sure. Video games cause violence and movies cause teen pregnancy.

Like you, I’m so sick of everyone putting the blame on pop culture. Perhaps if it weren’t illegal to pass out condoms the number of teen pregnancies would go down. Stupid Bush and his “abstinence is the best policy” crap!
