2+2=11

Jesse over at libhater had a little rant about other blogs the other day. He claimed that Sarah at rebootd tries to convince people of her views by using faulting reasoning such as saying 2+2=5. Well I disagree with him. Sarah just uses different reasoning than he does. She amptly supplies evidence too so that people can reach their own conclusions.

So as an example of using different reasoning, I supply the following example.

Everyone will agree that 2+2=4.

I say 2+2=11. I'm correct too.

Fell free to argue with me, but don't complain when I prove that I am right.

Bullshit! 7 +8 = 11
Who cares if I am using hex in a decimal world? I am right and that's that!

Oh, and Jesse don't get me started on your spelling mistakes :)

i'll start coming to everyones blogs to cause problems more frequently if they make it more entertaining. sarahs is super. you should do a post on how my 7th grade math team shirt that said "1+2x5=11" on the front. thats way more fun than this subject.

That's why I like to check out Liberal sites. It's like a well deserved temporary vacation from sanity.

Ok it's my turn to roll my eyes... the hex math was intended to be incorrect. That was the point!

Adam,

The point was stepping outside of conventional wisdom and finding a different yet correct answer. As well as the fact that nothing has meaning out of context.

1+2*5=11 is still conventional. Unless you think it equals 15.

Bullshit! 8 +9 = 11
Who cares if I am using hex in a decimal world? I am right and that's that!

no no no, your mistaken again. there was no point to your post. but A for effort for trying to think of something. and it does equal 11, but talking about that discussing that equation is way more entertaining than trying to prove a point no one understands in the first place

Wow, the more you idiots post the dumber you sound. All you do is keep proving my point. Yes 1+2*5=11 I never disputed that. I said it was conventional. Conventional, Jesse, because of the order of operations. Adam the fact that you find my post dumb asserts it's point. You think it's dumb because it is out of context and doensn't make sense. Which is why nobody understands it. It is still correct. 2+2=11 you just haven't figured out how I'm thinking about it. Which is basically most people's response to what they find on your blog.
